Overview of Support
- Support for technology development in energy efficiency innovation and smart energy efficiency to transform the energy efficiency sector into a high-efficiency/low-consumption structure, foster next-generation energy new industries, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
* Activities such as energy efficiency improvements and load management to reduce energy consumption and lower electricity load
Support Areas and Detailed Contents
Support for reducing electricity/gas/thermal energy consumption and improving utilization efficiency through the development of various energy efficiency technologies in energy consumption sectors (industry, buildings, and transportation).
Industrial Sector
Support for energy reduction and low carbonization by enhancing the efficiency and integrated management of major energy-intensive devices/facilities/processes in the industrial sector, the largest consumer of energy and resources.
- Efficiency improvement of motors, fluid machinery, industrial furnaces, etc., carbon-free transition technologies, expansion of unused energy use, etc.

Building Sector
Support for the technological development of core energy facility technologies for buildings, community(building groups) optimized model and zero-energy building conversion of existing/new buildings.
- High-efficiency equipment such as cooling, heating, air conditioning, and lighting, BEMS development, and establishment of energy management big data, etc.

Transportation Sector
Support for energy saving in the transportation sector, focusing on charging infrastructure technology development to expand the distribution of electric mobility with no harmful emissions and low carbonization technology development.
- Advancement of electric mobility chargers, improvement of charging convenience, and development of bidirectional energy efficiency technologies development, etc.
